Yesterday, we drove up to PV to attend a holiday party. It's still not registering in my mind that it's actually winter since we spent the afternoon walking down the Manhattan Beach pier watching surfers catching rolling waves. I caught myself complaining about the "cold" as we walked across the street to the party later that evening. Sorry, Midwestern pals...I'm quickly wimping out and returning to my California roots.Going back to work has really cut into my sewing adventure. I'm hoping I can start a project soon since I'm taking Christmas week off. This week, I have to try to finish crossing things off my shopping list. Happy Holidays!
